Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with patients, fostering a sense of trust and respect.
  • Support patients in their rehabilitation journey, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, using a range of techniques to overcome any barriers to communication.
  • Assist patients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and personal care.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and activities.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centered care.
  • Experience working in the care sector or mental health would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
