Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at our Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with patients, fostering open and honest communication
  • Support patients in their rehabilitation programme, promoting independence and confidence
  • Establish effective methods of communication, overcoming barriers where necessary
  • Assist patients with meal times, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Support with activities of daily living and personal care, respecting patients' dignity and autonomy
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team, reporting any concerns or issues
  • Accurately record and report work activities, maintaining high standards of documentation
  • Ensure patients' safety and well-being, upholding their human rights

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care, prioritizing patients' needs and well-being
  • Experience working in the care sector or mental health, although not essential
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
