Aon is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead our Global Benefits Group

The Chief Commercial Officer will work closely with the Head of Global Benefits to develop the Global Benefits commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop a global multinational sales strategy for Human Capital, across the domains of Health, Wealth and Talent
  2. Build a global GB sales team
  3. Create a robust sales process – including sales plan, lead qualification, go/no-go process, resourcing, pricing strategy, Aon story, etc.
  4. Build a clear marketing plan with Marcom to support the sales strategy for multinationals
  5. Update and refine the value proposition for MNCs and the external engagement strategy
  6. Creating accountability within the Global Benefits team by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating measurement versus those metrics
  7. Lead pipelines and create clear reporting metrics utilizing the CRM system, Aon Connect
  8. Implement clear sales sprints with Enterprise Client Group and Aon Client Leadership clients
  9. Building a successful, global sales team to execute end-to-end sales, including outreach, pitching, pricing, negotiation, closing deals, and implementation
  10. Ensure a robust after-sales process to deliver strong customer engagement aligned to the GB operating model
  11. Ensuring timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implementing performance management actions when needed
  12. Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal partners, notably the domestic Health, Wealth and Talent commercial and client-facing teams, the Enterprise Client Group, and the regional Commercial teams
  13. Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis
  14. Visibility and regular communication with regional Health leaders, Enterprise Client Group, Chief Commercial Officer, and region CCOs

About this opportunity

This role will play a key part in evolving and refreshing the Human Capital value proposition for multinationals across the full expanse of Health, Wealth and Talent.

You will partner with the Head of Global Benefits, Global Benefits leadership team, and regional leadership to drive a more commercial and growth mindset.

The role reports to the Head of Global Benefits and will be held responsible for and measured against driving outsized growth of the multi-national segment through new business and expansion of existing relationships.

Requirements

  1. Consistent track record of success in a senior commercial leadership role
  2. Successfully built, scaled, and led high-performing teams
  3. Strong experience within consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and lead senior-level relationships
  4. Highly goal-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to be hands-on
  6. Personally involved in leading and winning commercial activity
  7. Strong links with regional Health and Wealth Leaders and region CCOs
