They will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and staff, and command the confidence of the chief executive and chair.

This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for an experienced operational leader who is able to thrive in a fast-moving and complex working environment. The right candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time and at pace, and be able to anticipate the thinking of the chief executive and apply this insight in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively drive the chief executive's agenda across the Office for Students and beyond
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide policy, regulatory and other advice to the chief executive and chair
  • Optimise the time and efforts of the chief executive and chair
  • Project leadership and management
  • Lead and manage the chief executive and chair's office to provide outstanding administrative and strategic support
