About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at Desborough Surgery in High Wycombe. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinicians and patients.
Main Responsibilities
As a Medical Receptionist/Administrator, your duties will include:
- Greeting patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, either in person or over the phone
- Managing patient records and administrative tasks, including registering patients, processing prescriptions, and booking appointments
- Responding to patient queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with the management of medical records and correspondence
- Preparing consulting rooms and ensuring a smooth flow of patients
- Operating the telephone system and responding to calls
- Performing start and end of day procedures, including opening and closing the premises
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
