Interim EHS Manager Opportunity
Irwin & Colton Limited is seeking an experienced Interim EHS Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the site is compliant with UK legislation and the company's health, safety, and environment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive improvement in health, safety, and environment across the site
- Audit safety, health, and environmental performance, and investigate incidents and near misses
- Engage with stakeholders, including senior management, operational staff, and external regulators
- Lead on new initiatives to improve Health, Safety, and Environment compliance and performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial environment
- Degree qualified with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and membership of IOSH
- Proven environmental management experience and experience with ISO 14001
- Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with colleagues and stakeholders
- Strong technical knowledge across relevant health, safety, and environment legislation
