About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pensions Consultant to join our team at Capita Pension Solutions. As a Pensions Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of our pension strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Transitional Protection regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and identify trends that impact the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on Transitional Protection-related matters.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform the development of new pension strategies and solutions.
  • Work closely with the Government Actuary's Department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Department for Education and HM Treasury.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in pension regulations and policies, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of pension regulations and policies, particularly in relation to Transitional Protection.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
