Perinatal Mental Health Midwife Opportunity

Job Overview
">We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated midwife to join our team in the perinatal mental health service. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of all areas of midwifery, a passion for community-based care, and excellent organisational skills.
The post holder will work collaboratively with other agencies to provide individualised care plans and support women with perinatal mental ill health and their families throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period.
The salary for this role is £37,338 - £44,962 pa, pro rata, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced midwives looking to advance their careers.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of PMH care needs for women with identified vulnerabilities.
- Support the service by working alongside and under the indirect supervision of the Specialist Midwife for PMH.
- Provide targeted midwifery advice to women with perinatal mental ill health and their families.
- Triage referrals to the service by investigating concerns, referring to and liaising with appropriate agencies.
- Provide continuity of care to a small caseload of women who have been referred to the PMH service.
