About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cycle Centre Assistant Manager to join our team at Center Parcs. As a key member of our Cycle Centre team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cycle facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Cycle Centre Manager in the day-to-day management of the Cycle Centre, including maintaining and driving commercial management and control of associated costs.
  • Support the Cycle Centre Manager in driving and delivering excellent guest service, achieving all financial targets, managing budgets, and delivering agreed performance targets.
  • Facilitate and develop a culture that promotes and encourages the general wellbeing, motivation, and morale of your team, while ensuring effective performance management strategies are in place.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, including counterparts on other Villages.
  • Previous supervisory/managerial experience is essential, as you will be responsible for the motivation of the team, providing coaching, and coordinating any training requirements.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support, develop, and challenge a team
  • Friendly, genuine, and warm towards guests and colleagues
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels

Desirable Requirements

  • CYTEC qualification NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of cycle maintenance
  • Previous experience of leading a team in a service/operational environment
