About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Adult Psychiatrist to join our Primary Care Liaison Service in Wiltshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and work closely with our Community Mental Health Team and Primary Care colleagues to deliver high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior medical staff
  • Assess and treat patients in a community setting
  • Work collaboratively with our Community Mental Health Team and Primary Care colleagues to develop and implement care plans
  • Participate in clinical supervision and contribute to the development of our service
  • Supervise and support junior medical staff in their clinical practice
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Experience of assessing and treating patients in a community setting
  • Ability to assess and treat psychiatric problems in adults of working age
  • Commitment to and experience of undergraduate and postgraduate learning and teaching
  • Experience or involvement in a research project and publication
