About the Role
">We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Mentor to join our team at a primary school in Preston.
The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a desire to support students in achieving their full potential.
The role involves assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, providing additional support to pupils, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, including preparing resources and materials.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of students to help them access the curriculum and achieve learning goals.
- Assist with classroom management, lesson preparation, and administrative tasks.
- Help promote social and emotional development among children.
- Provide extra help to students who may need additional support, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
- Recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to work with children.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build relationships with pupils.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A competitive daily pay rate of £79.05-£84.25.
- Flexible working hours, including part-time options.
