Role Overview:

The role of the Internal Business Development Executive will involve:

  1. Internal sales position selling a quality range of manufactured landscaping products such as:
  • Landscape edging
  • Drainage cells
  • Geogrids
  • Grass reinforcement
  • Aggregates
  • Gravel stabilisation
  • Tools
  • Attenuation crates
  • Light towers
  • Decorative screens
All of your time will be spent selling into building & landscape contractors as well as independent and wholesale merchants such as TP, Jewsons, Selco.Deal with inbound sales enquiries via phone & email.Follow up on marketing team leads sent from the website.Elements of account management when not calling leads.Focus will shift to cold calling/new business development in the off seasons.Ideal Applicant:

The ideal applicant will have experience as an Internal Business Development Executive with:

  1. Must have outbound phone sales experience, not just taking orders.
  2. Would consider account management or sales support providing they have order processing experience and have the right drive for sales.
  3. Must be keen to talk with customers & have a confident phone manner.
  4. Construction experience beneficial, landscaping preferred however neither essential.
  5. Good people skills both internally & with customers.
  6. Hungry, driven and keen to learn.
  7. Autonomous and possess a positive attitude.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales and has a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong work ethic.

They will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
