Job Title: Apprentice Credit Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Apprentice Credit Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As an Apprentice Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining ledgers, communicating with customers, and conducting credit checks to ensure the credit limits in place are appropriate for the customers' financial/payment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer debt, communications, and outcomes
* Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers to ensure credit limits are appropriate
* Review credit limits periodically to ensure values are appropriate for customer spend
* Prepare month-end closure, including balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide support with account payment queries
* Support the finance controller with preparation for year-end audits

Requirements:

* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
* Strong understanding of credit control procedures and principles
* High attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
* Ability to analyse financial data and make sound decisions
