Job Overview

FUTURE EDUCATION is seeking an experienced Behavioural Support Assistant to join our team in the London Borough of Greenwich. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting children with challenging behaviours within the classroom and on an outreach basis.

Job Description

This ongoing role involves working directly with one student who requires additional behavioural support to achieve their full potential in an educational setting. The successful Behavioural Support Assistant will work closely with teachers, parents/guardians, and other professionals to implement individualised behaviour intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to the student with behavioural challenges in and outside the school setting.
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour intervention plans tailored to the student's needs.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and external professionals to support the student's educational and behavioural goals.
  • Employ a variety of behaviour management techniques and strategies to promote positive behaviours.

The estimated salary for this role is £90,000 per annum, based on the national average daily rate of £85-£100 and a standard full-time schedule. This is a competitive offer for a Behavioural Support Assistant in the London area.
