**Job Summary:** Behaviour Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Intervention Specialist to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support pupils with challenging behaviors associated with SEMH issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who display challenging behaviors and possess excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address the root causes of behavioral difficulties.

We offer a competitive salary of £100 per day (dependent on experience) and a range of benefits, including access to free accredited training courses, interview preparation support, and a generous recommend a friend referral scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess and develop behavior intervention plans to meet the unique needs of each pupil
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • To stay up-to-date with best practices in behavior intervention and SEMH support

Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
  • Previous experience working with children who display challenging behaviors
