Mental Health Crisis Recovery Worker

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team in Cannock, supporting adults in crisis due to a decline in their mental health.

About the Role:

As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will be a key member of our 24/7 service, working within a small team to provide support using the therapeutic intervention model. You will work with clients to develop and deliver client-led recovery, promoting control and maximising independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to adults in crisis, using the therapeutic intervention model
  • Work with clients to develop and deliver client-led recovery plans
  • Liaise with external agencies to promote access to activities and resources
  • Participate in a varied rota and shift patterns, including sleep ins and waking nights

Requirements:

  • Understanding of mental health issues
  • At least 6 months' experience working in a social care setting (ideally mental health focused)
  • Flexibility to participate in a varied rota and shift patterns
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible, creative, and empathetic approach
