About the Job

As a Senior General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and treatment to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

You will be part of a large multi-disciplinary team, working together to deliver a quality therapeutic service to tier 4 patients and their families.

Main Duties
  • Provide a holistic treatment package for young people, working within the Multi-disciplinary Team.
  • Co-ordinate the duties for the nursing team on duty, prioritizing and delegating tasks to junior staff.
  • Liaise with other professionals and provide accurate shift handover.

We offer a competitive salary of £37,898 to £45,637 per annum, pro rata'd if part-time, and a range of benefits including excellent training and development opportunities.

Person Specification
  • RMN Qualified
  • Experience of working within CAMHS or a therapeutic post eg eating disorders, challenging behaviour.
