Senior Mental Health Nurse Position in Wales

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior General Nurse to join our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Tier 4 Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to young people aged 12-18 who are experiencing psychiatric disorders.
Ty Llidiard is a 15-bedded unit serving the population of South Wales, with a full range of medical, nursing, and therapeutic posts. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can grow and develop your skills.
The successful applicant will be required to work a varied shift pattern, including weekdays and weekends. This will involve supporting the Ward Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the ward, managing junior staff's sickness, annual leave, and time in lieu. You will also prioritize and delegate tasks to junior staff, liaising with other professionals and providing accurate shift handovers.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a background in CAMHS or a therapeutic post. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. A desirable skill for this post is the ability to speak Welsh.

Job Responsibilities
