MacGregor Black is seeking a seasoned Bid Manager to drive commercial performance within our Sales function.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Bid Development and Strategy
    • Develop and execute comprehensive bid strategies to secure educational opportunities.
    • Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources and gather relevant data to support bid submissions.
  • Content Creation and Management
    • Lead the creation of high-quality bid documents, including proposals, tenders, and other supporting materials.
    • Manage multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring timely submission and adherence to client requirements.
  • Project Management and Compliance
    • Oversee the bid development process, ensuring all deadlines are met and submissions are organized and efficient.
    • Ensure all bids comply with relevant guidelines, standards, and criteria specified by funders, including legal and financial regulations.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis
    • Stay up-to-date on trends, policies, and best practices in the education sector, incorporating this knowledge into bid strategies.
    • Provide market intelligence and analysis to inform business decisions and drive commercial performance.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless bid development and submission processes.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure clear understanding of bid requirements and expectations.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet tender processes.
    • Strong research and project management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
    • Knowledge of the education sector, including funding mechanisms and policy trends.
