Operational Resilience Manager Job Description

TalentHawk is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Manager to join our team. As a leading consultancy, we provide a range of services to clients, including cyber security, and pride ourselves on a client-first approach.

About the Role:
  • Provide a holistic view of Operational Resilience, integrating Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with Business Continuity Management (BCM).
  • Lead and develop the Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme, including conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and implementing BCM practices across client operations.
  • Oversee the Risk Management function, including updating the Risk Management Framework and aligning it with current standards.
  • Provide a unified approach to Operational Resilience by integrating GRC and BCM, ensuring clients have a comprehensive strategy to withstand and recover from potential disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and support assessments and audits to ensure adherence to ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans tailored to specific client requirements.
  • Offer general consulting services, providing expert guidance on governance, risk, compliance, and business continuity matters.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations aimed at improving clients' security posture and enhancing their overall operational resilience.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their understanding and compliance with regulations.
About You:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a GRC consulting role with significant experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM).
  • Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing junior team members, particularly in BCM and Risk Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and BCM standards.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver client-centric solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive approach to solving complex challenges.
