Job Summary:

Venn Group is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Manager to lead the development and implementation of our client's operational resilience program. This is a critical role that requires a professional with a strong understanding of operational resilience frameworks and experience in managing and implementing resilience programs within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Operational Resilience Program: Spearhead the development and implementation of our client's operational resilience program, including reviewing, enhancing, and aligning existing policies, procedures, and plans to meet international operational resilience standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with teams in Third Party Risk, Cyber & Information Security, IT, and Disaster Recovery to ensure a cohesive and robust approach to the firm's resilience and risk management posture.
  • Develop Business Continuity Artifacts: Develop, mature, and deliver essential Business Continuity artifacts, such as Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP), across all regions and business units.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Engage with key stakeholders across various departments and global regions to gather insights, provide expert guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration.
  • Develop and Implement Policies: Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures addressing operational resilience risks on a global scale.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the firm's Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management programs align with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and other relevant global regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare Reports and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and documentation to track program progress for audits, governance, and oversight committees.

Requirements:

  • Strong Understanding of Operational Resilience Frameworks: In-depth understanding of Operational Resilience (OpRes) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks, with a strong grasp of global regulations such as the various nationalities central banking standards around Operational Resilience Guidelines, DORA, MAS BCM Guidelines, and APRA Prudential Standard CPS 230.
  • Experience in Managing Resilience Programs: Proven experience in managing and implementing OpRes and BCM programs within the financial services or asset management sectors; applicants with experience delivering on a global-scale will be greatly favored.
  • Knowledge of Global Best Practices: Knowledge of global OpRes and BCM best practices and standards.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive, self-sufficient approach with the ability to drive initiatives forward independently.
