Digital Modelling Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Modelling Manager to join our team at Envisage Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our Design Studio, you will be responsible for delivering premium quality CAD solutions to support Design and Engineering intent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Manage, develop, and motivate a team of Digital modellers to deliver premium quality CAD solutions.
  • Workload Planning: Plan and prioritise Digital modelling team workload, utilising permanent and agency resource.
  • Resource Estimation: Provide accurate estimates for resource and time scales to enable efficient programme timing.
  • CAD Delivery Standards: Setup and development of CAD delivery standards to ensure premium CAD delivery.
Supporting Production:
  • Design Properties: Ensure the integration of a high degree of feasibility in Design properties prior downstream Engineering.
  • Cost and Efficiency Processes: Support development of key cost and efficiency processes with Design Studio.
  • External Supply Budget: Support the organisation and management of external supply budget.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as a technical expert for Class A production Digital Solutions.
Requirements:
  • CAD Literacy: Must be fully CAD literate and able to use a range of CAD tools.
  • PC Literacy: Must be PC literate and able to use a range of PC software.
  • Visualisation Tools: Must be able to setup and use a range of visualisation tools.
