Job Title: Fee Earner

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fee Earner to join our team at K.B.C. Associates Limited. As a Fee Earner, you will be responsible for undertaking fee earning work and providing a profitable contribution to the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting all matters on behalf of clients with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Assisting fee earning work undertaken by colleagues, including workload management, sickness, and holidays.
  • Encouraging and promoting the image and ethos of the firm.
  • Managing support services, including supervision of office juniors.
  • Undertaking financial control, including cashflow control, billing procedures, and collection of monies on account.
  • Providing constant updates to clients and corporate agents on matters.
  • Dealing with client queries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintaining legal knowledge through training and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Person Specification:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
  • Law degree or equivalent, with a strong understanding of residential law.
  • Ability to work well within a team and develop strong client relationships.
  • At least 2 years of legal experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of client care.
Competencies:
  • Acting with honesty and integrity, in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining the level of competence and legal knowledge needed to practise effectively.
  • Working within the limits of their competence and seeking expert advice when necessary.
  • Applying legal principles to factual issues and producing solutions that best address clients' needs.
