Radiotherapy Treatment Planning Position

We are seeking a skilled Treatment Planner/Dosimetrist to join our team at the NHS Kent Oncology Centre. As a Clinical Specialist in Treatment Planning, you will play a key role in the day-to-day organisation of workflow through the Mould Room, CT, and Planning sections.

Your responsibilities will include producing VMAT plans, outlining organs-at-risk, and assisting in the Mould Room. You will also collaborate with the Cancer Performance team to ensure cancer targets are met and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service.

About the Role:

  • Lead the day-to-day organisation of workflow through the Mould Room, CT, and Planning sections.
  • Produce VMAT plans and outline organs-at-risk.
  • Collaborate with the Cancer Performance team to ensure cancer targets are met.

Requirements:

  • BSc (Therapeutic Radiography) DCR (T)
  • BSc Honours Degree in Healthcare Science (Radiotherapy Physics)
  • HCPC Registration as Radiographer or registration with RCT as a Clinical Technologist
