Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Linux)

Are you a skilled Backend Software Engineer with expertise in C++ and Linux?

We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Linux) in London or work from home two days a week. You'll be part of a global systematic trading firm, designing, developing, and optimizing low latency, high throughput C++ trading systems for high frequency trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain market data feed handlers, order entry systems, and execution algorithms with a focus on reducing latency and ensuring performance and reliability of trading systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and develop C++ trading systems, leveraging expertise in C++ 17, multi-threading, real-time systems, and network programming.
  • Work on low latency trading systems within the cryptocurrency space, utilizing your knowledge of C++ optimization and Template Metaprogramming.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Linux OS and distributed network architecture, ensuring seamless integration with AWS.
  • Contribute to the development of Greenfield systems, applying your knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, such as OOP, Design Patterns, and Data Structures.
