Job Title: Backend Software Engineer C++ Linux

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Workonblockchain. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for designing and developing a new, low latency, trade execution system from scratch.

You will work closely with our Investment Management professionals to utilize modern C++ (C++ 20 / C++ 23) and Template Metaprogramming techniques. Your role will involve working across the full development lifecycle, from design and architecture to deployment.

In this rewarding position, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Greenfield systems and receive continual learning and development opportunities. Our competitive package includes a salary up to £300k, a significant bonus, pension, private healthcare, and 25 days of holiday.

Requirements:

  • Advanced C++ development skills, including C++ 20, STL, and Boost.
  • Experience with Template Meta Programming (TMP).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS and distributed network architecture, ideally with an understanding of the GCC development toolchain.
  • Good understanding of C++ optimization.
  • Thorough knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, such as OOP, Design Patterns, and Data Structures.
