Job Overview

Cavalry Healthcare is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Learning and Development. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all learning and development programs within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create targeted learning solutions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and performance reviews.
  • Lead a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continually improve programs.
  • Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in learning and development.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Experience working in the healthcare or social services industry is a plus.
