The Role
We are seeking a Support Practitioner to join our team in Ardrossan. As a Support Practitioner, you will provide personalized support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live as independently as possible and participate in their local communities.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide flexible support based on the needs of each individual
- Support with daily living tasks, including cooking, meal planning, household tasks, medication, finances, appointments, and personal care
- Enable individuals to participate in their hobbies and interests
- Support individuals to live as independently as possible and participate in their local communities
About You
We welcome applications from individuals who possess good communication skills, a caring attitude, and a positive approach to learning. You will be confident in the use of computers and have a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
Shift Patterns
We operate a 24/7 service, and shift patterns will include mornings, days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and waking nights. You will receive your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 for each night worked.
What We Offer
We offer a comprehensive training program, including funding for your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees. You will be part of a warm, friendly, and passionate team who support each other to make a positive difference in the lives of those we support.
