Care Support Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and caring Care Support Specialist to join our team in the Beccles area. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene needs, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our customers.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our customers.
- General Domestic Tasks: Perform general domestic tasks, including shopping visits and cleaning, to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Administering Medication: Administer medication to customers, based on their individual needs and training level.
- Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication administration and customer progress.
- Delegated Healthcare Tasks: Support customers with delegated healthcare tasks, such as skin integrity, wound healing, nutrition through PEG, and diabetes management.
- Valid Driving Licence & Access to Own Vehicle: A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred, but not essential. We also welcome applications from walkers, bikers, and moped riders.
- Experience: Previous care experience is beneficial, but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure our Care Support Specialists are equipped to provide high-quality care.
