About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to work within a special needs school catering for children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in delivering educational programs
  • Assist students with special needs in a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individual education plans

Requirements:

  • A level of understanding about childcare and special education
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £87.90 per hour (minimum rate)

Working Hours: Full-time, 8:45 am - 3:20 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
