Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced behaviour mentor to join our team as a specialist teaching assistant in Swansea. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies that support pupils with different learning needs.

As a behaviour mentor, you will be responsible for providing individualised support to pupils, building rapport and adapting to different needs and abilities while ensuring safeguarding is a priority. You will work with children in KS2 to KS4 and be responsible for implementing strategies that promote re-integration to mainstream school.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of child development and be able to provide individualised support to pupils. You should also have experience working with challenging behaviours and be able to implement strategies that promote re-integration to mainstream school.

The successful candidate will hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs (A* - C) and have a valid Enhanced DBS check. They should also have experience working with challenging behaviours and be able to implement strategies that promote re-integration to mainstream school. The hourly salary for this position is £12.90.
