About the Role

We are looking for an Education and Care Specialist to work as a Learning Support Assistant in our partnership primary schools in Swansea and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time position, requiring you to work from Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm throughout the academic year.

You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs, working closely with experienced Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

The ideal candidate will have a professional or personal background in education or care, excellent communication skills, empathy, and a caring nature.

This role offers opportunities for ongoing professional development, including in-house training provided by Teaching Personnel.

As a Learning Support Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing targeted support to pupils with Additional Learning Needs
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to develop and implement effective support plans
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment
