About the Role

The Girlswear Graphic & Print Designer is a dynamic and varied role that supports our in-house design team. This position will also contribute to customer meetings, sample collection, and range development for shape, print, and graphic design.

L&F Fashion is seeking an experienced, creative, ambitious, and dedicated Print and Graphic Designer to produce strong apparel print designs that translate into commercial products.

We are looking for a Designer who is:

  • Experienced in high-street fashion design for girlswear
  • Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with the customer's direction and critical path within tight deadlines
  • An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including customers and factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe
  • Highly organized, efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Experienced in working within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), Photoshop, and Illustrator, with 3D design skills being beneficial
  • Ability to design shape and graphics – With a graphics focus
  • To have garment technical knowledge, and ability to generate detailed tech packs
  • Driven and results-oriented
  • Proactive, positive, and solutions-focused
  • Education to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business, or retail

About the Recruitment Process:

The interview process will consist of two interviews and a design project:

  • Initial interview, with the hiring manager and a member of the HR team
  • If successful in the initial interview, a design project will be set
  • Second interview, in person, with the hiring manager and team
