About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial management, including financial reporting and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:- Work in our Advisory Team, providing expert advice to clients on financial matters.
- Interact with and manage clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Learn and implement financial modelling and forecasting techniques to drive business growth and profitability.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting and finance best practices, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage a team of accounting professionals, including setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to management to help drive business growth and profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification, or currently studying.
- 4 years+ of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in UK Public Practice.
- Has FULL working rights in the UK and will NOT require sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- No time-sheets.
