About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Arena Racing Corporation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in implementing new menus and ensuring that all food preparation meets high standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in monthly stocktakes and report any discrepancies to the Line Manager.
  • Attend Health and Safety training and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Prepare and present high-quality food to our guests.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members and ensure that all team members are aware of company procedures.
  • Report any maintenance, hygiene, or hazard issues to the Line Manager.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety and food safety legislation.
  • Contribute to controlling costs and improving gross profit margins.
Requirements
  • GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 3 food preparation (or equivalent)
  • Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within a branded hotel is a distinct advantage
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
