Overview

Soul Foods Group is a leading multinational quick-service restaurant franchisee with a presence in the UK and Canada. Founded in 1985, this family-owned business has grown rapidly to own and manage nearly 400 restaurants across both countries.

We are now seeking an experienced People and Culture Manager to join our UK team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for devising, implementing, and managing professional and robust HR practices and policies that align with our company's vision and strategy.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with our UK Leadership team to deliver the SFG UK strategy, supporting managers and employees at all levels to achieve their goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a positive work culture by championing our values and operational HR practices
  • Implementing employee relations processes including disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
  • Managing people planning processes to ensure the right resources are in place to support our growth plans
  • Designing and delivering training programs to upskill our employees and improve overall performance
  • Providing advice and guidance on employment law and best practice HR procedures

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:

About You

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in HR, with at least three years in a senior HR role
  • CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels
  • A collaborative approach to working with stakeholders, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions
