About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children's Therapies Team in East Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing Speech and Language Therapy interventions for children with a range of needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop integrated care plans in partnership with children, young people, and their families.
  • Deliver evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy interventions to support children in achieving their identified health outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and work collaboratively with Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
  • Manage a caseload of children with complex needs and prioritize care delivery in a professional manner.

Requirements
  • Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body: HCPC.
  • Speech and Language Therapy degree.
  • Experience of recent community healthcare/education settings gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment.
  • Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
