Join Our Team as a Disability Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).

About the Role

As a Disability Assessor, you will work autonomously to conduct consultations and write comprehensive reports. You will use your clinical expertise to gain a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with diverse health conditions and how their disabilities impact their daily lives.

You will work in an office-style environment and at home, conducting approximately 45-minute assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face. Your findings will be used to support the decision-making process by the DWP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into comprehensive reports
  • Work autonomously to complete assessments and reports
Requirements
  • NMC/HCPC registration is required
  • 1 year of experience in UK Nursing
