Disability Assessor Opportunity

About the Role

As a Disability Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions' (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). You will hold consultations and write fair and accurate reports, using your clinical skills to understand the impact of disabilities on daily life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your clinical experience to work with people with diverse health conditions
  • Complete assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into comprehensive reports
Requirements

We are looking for Registered Nurses, Physios, Paramedics, and Occupational Therapists with at least 1 year's broad post-registration experience and UK experience. You must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be proactive, and receptive to feedback.
