Job Title: Process Development Scientist

Touchlight is a leading biotechnology company focused on the enzymatic synthesis of novel DNA formats. We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Scientist to join our CMC department and contribute to the development of our DNA manufacturing technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct experiments and generate high-quality experimental data to support DNA services commercial operations.
  • Execute commercial process development projects from small-scale optimization through pre-GMP pilot batch scales.
  • Support programs into production team and report data to clients and stakeholders.
  • Execute process and product-related validation activities.
Requirements:
  • MSc qualification in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Protein Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of industrial experience in CMC/Process Development gained in a Biotech and/or CDMO environment, or a PhD in a relevant area.
  • Familiarity with bioprocessing techniques, such as chromatography, tangential flow filtration, and filtration.
  • Experience with specialized DNA characterization techniques would be advantageous.
