About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Swift Resources Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up the kitchen prior to the start of shift, ensuring all necessary equipment and ingredients are available.
  • Prepare and cook a specific portion of each plated meal, adhering to our high standards of presentation and taste.
  • Assist with marinating, cutting, and precooking foods, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean the kitchen before the end of shift, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are sanitized and ready for the next day.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure seamless service and exceptional food quality.
  • Participate in the preparation of new menus, utilizing your creativity and culinary expertise to develop innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Maintain accurate records of food purchases, inventory, and waste, ensuring compliance with our company's procedures and policies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menus, ingredients, and cooking techniques, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on presentation, taste, and consistency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including breakfast and buffet services.
  • First aid training or willingness to obtain.
