Are you a caring and patient individual looking to make a positive impact in the life of a young lady with autism?

We are seeking a Personal Assistant to support her in attending the ARC in Dumfries, 3 days a week. As she is non-verbal, experience in supporting individuals with epilepsy and autism is essential.

About the Role
  • Support our client in daily activities, including attending the ARC and participating in her favourite hobbies, such as bird watching and bubble play.
  • Develop a strong relationship with our client, built on trust, empathy, and understanding.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment that enables our client to thrive.

Salary: £12 per hour, paid for 21 hours over a 3-day period (Monday to Wednesday)

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in social care or support services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with our client and her family
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature
  • Driving license preferred but not essential
