Assistant Leader in Childcare Services at Mytime ActiveWhat We Are Seeking

  • Adaptability to meet operational requirements, with working hours from 7am-9am and 2:45pm - 6pm (during term time)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Officer, ensuring staff receive proper child protection training
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate child-to-staff ratios and supervising employees
  • Facilitate effective communication with essential stakeholders, including parents, educators, and regulatory bodies
  • Comply with company policies, training protocols, and keep procedures updated
  • Designate key workers for children and manage their personal records
  • Provide nutritious snacks while adhering to hygiene regulations
  • Handle administrative duties such as record-keeping, first aid administration, and incident documentation
Essential Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or playwork
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Food Hygiene certification
  • Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Safeguarding Children certification
