Support Students with Behavioural Challenges

Aspire People seeks a compassionate and experienced Behaviour School Support Worker to play a pivotal role in supporting students with challenging behaviours. You will help them overcome barriers to learning and engage more fully in their educational experience.

This is a rewarding and dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, patience, resilience, and empathy when working with young people facing personal challenges.

  1. Provide one-to-one and group support to students with challenging behaviours, encouraging positive engagement with learning.
  2. Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans in collaboration with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, and parents.
  3. Support students during difficult situations, providing guidance on coping strategies and emotional regulation techniques.
  4. Promote a positive school culture by supporting the implementation of school-wide behaviour strategies and helping to establish clear expectations.
  5. Work with external agencies such as educational psychologists and other professionals to support students as needed.
Competitive Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £28,000-£35,000 per annum, based on experience, with the option of extending or 'as and when'. We also offer a long-term contract, opportunities to work in a school with a strong community presence, and a willingness to undertake a DBS through Aspire People.
