Job Title: Wrap Around and Holiday Club Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Wrap Around and Holiday Club provision at Heronswood Primary School & Pre-School.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To lead, develop and support a team of staff to provide high-quality care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 2-11 years old.
  • To plan and engage in a range of indoor and outdoor play activities that promote learning and development.
  • To maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring compliance with Safeguarding, Health and Safety, GDPR and OFSTED inspection requirements.
  • To administer basic first aid and keep records of accidents and incidents.
  • To work closely with parents and carers to maintain a good level of two-way communication.
  • To ensure that adequate standards of safety and hygiene are maintained throughout the WAC, including the completion of appropriate risk assessments and recording and reporting of hazards and accidents.
  • To be the first point of contact for parents and carers of children using the WAC and Holiday Club, providing information and feedback on their child's experience.
  • To work with the school admin and finance staff to ensure records are kept up to date and invoices can be produced with accuracy.
  • To work with the Senior Leadership Team to lead a profitable provision that provides a great service to children and parents at a fair price.
