Job Title: Processing Operative

ASD, a leading metal stockholder and processing supplier in the UK, is seeking a skilled Processing Operative to join our team at our site in Kidderminster.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced individual to operate heavy machinery, including decoiling/slitting machines, fork-lift trucks, and overhead cranes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production line, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the Bud Profiling Line or other scheduled activities, such as machine operation, loading, basic maintenance, TPM, 5S, or other duties as directed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, moving between different areas, machine centers, or locations as required.
  • Adhere to EHS, Quality, and safe working practices at all times.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience operating profiling machines, Plasma Profilers, Press Brakes, CNC Machines, or similar equipment in a manufacturing, steel environment, warehousing, or distribution setting. A passion for health and safety and a commitment to continually improving our site are essential.
