Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to support the growth and profitability of our store through the implementation of the retail plan and delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) for their area of accountability.

This role involves recruiting, developing, and motivating a team of customer assistants to achieve exceptional results and support succession requirements within the store and region.

The successful candidate will also ensure the store trades safely and legally, protecting customers, colleagues, and the M&S brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitability and sales in their area by supporting the delivery of the Retail Plan and Store KPIs.
  • Embed business transformation plans and change initiatives for their area.
  • Deliver great standards and service by setting clear expectations with store colleagues.
  • Create a multiskilled team that utilizes all available tools to serve and sell well.
  • Use data and insight to improve the customer experience, operation, and performance.
Requirements:
  • Able to lead a team to deliver excellent customer service and KPIs across the store.
  • Good understanding and up-to-date knowledge of commercial, visual, operational, and people processes and systems.
  • Uses all available data and MI to identify commercial, visual, cost savings & customer opportunities to increase profit.
Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
