Care Home Team Lead

Are you a seasoned care professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Home Team Lead to join our team at Blue Arrow.
About the Role:
The Care Home Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support services to our clients. This involves managing and supervising a team of caregivers, ensuring they provide compassionate and effective care, and maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery.
- Provide regular supervision and support to the team through one-on-one meetings and team meetings.
- Schedule staff shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times.
- Monitor performance, provide feedback, and offer coaching to staff as needed.
- Care Delivery:
- Oversee and ensure the delivery of personalized care plans for each client.
- Assess and monitor the well-being of clients, ensuring that care is provided according to their needs.
- Ensure that all care tasks (personal care, medication assistance, daily living activities, etc.) are carried out according to the care plan and regulatory standards.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Monitor the quality of care being delivered, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and internal quality standards.
- Complete and maintain accurate care documentation, including client records, care plans, and incident reports.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training and development needs within the team and facilitate opportunities for growth.
- Provide or arrange for staff training in line with regulatory requirements and care standards.
- Encourage professional development and ensure the team is up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
- Client and Family Liaison:
- Develop positive relationships with clients and their families, ensuring clear communication regarding care plans, concerns, and progress.
- Address and resolve any concerns raised by clients, families, or staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and teams to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for clients.
- Ensure good communication and teamwork within the care team, as well as with external agencies when necessary.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a care setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and time-management abilities. A basic salary of £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered along with various benefits.
