Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at Biocair. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in delivering timely and accurate financial reports to the business and finance stakeholders.
  2. Support the FP&A team in consolidating and reporting budget and quarterly forecasts.
  3. Develop and improve financial reporting to provide valuable insights to the business.
  4. Lead the preparation of monthly reports for the shareholder, including future-focused, value-adding, and action-oriented commentary.
  5. Provide new financial analysis requested by senior management and shareholders, and drive continuous improvement in data analysis.
  6. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of financial data in and across our systems.

Requirements

  1. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
  2. Experience in modelling and analysing large volumes of data and interpreting financial information.
  3. IBM Planning Analytics TM1 certification and ability to investigate at a granular level to ensure understanding of business drivers.
  4. Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner and use it to influence decision-making.
  5. Experience in multi-dimensional planning tools and systems.
  6. Willingness to develop knowledge and skills in Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics TM1 reporting.
  7. Ability to manage individual workload, work in a team, and plan/set deadlines while working to achieve them.
  8. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am to 17:30pm, with 3 days per week spent at our Cambridge office in Sawston.
