Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Clinical Endoscopist. This is a part-time post that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth.

The successful candidate will be required to complete the academic qualifications for the Clinical Endoscopist programme as well as their practical training. They will work closely with our experienced team to develop their skills and knowledge in upper GI endoscopy.

As a Trainee Clinical Endoscopist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver care to patients with gastrointestinal problems, both in the emergency and elective settings.

Main Duties

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services
  • Meet maximum waiting time targets for suspected cancer patients, routine diagnostics, and patients requiring further planned/surveillance procedures
  • Provide urgent access to inpatients for endoscopy procedures as appropriate
